Coordinator Study Support & Vice-chairwoman

Hello everyone!

My name is Esmay Jansen and I am proud to represent Study Association Complex this year as the Coordinator Study Support & Vice-Chairwoman. I am 23 years old and from Dordrecht, where I currently still live. I am doing my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, for which I am presently doing my clinical internship alongside my function on the board. I also have a background in Positive Psychology.

I have been a member of Complex since the beginning of my degree, all the way back in 2021-2022, but only became an active member last year when I participated in the Focus Group Internationalisation. I have nevertheless developed a strong (purple!) heart for the association and am incredibly excited to combine my passion for psychology and student wellbeing with my love for Complex, and to contribute to the academic and personal development of our members. In my role as a board member, I will also coordinate the Introduction Committee and the Professional Development Committee.

In my free time, I love being creative, making music (piano, bass guitar, and singing), spending time with friends, watching Formula 1, hiking, reading, and working on my personal development; for example by learning a new language or skill, or by conducting academic research.

I am really looking forward to this amazing year and all the fun activities we will experience together!
